Volunteer FAQ
Who can volunteer?
Members of Grace Community Baptist Church are able to volunteer for anything they wish!
How do I volunteer?
Each serving entry point may look a little different, but the most important first step is to let us know you are interested by getting in touch with Pastor Cole. Once you’ve narrowed down what ministry you are interested in, we will connect you with the appropriate ministry leader to take your next steps. For some ministries you will be invited to check out that ministry in action. For others, you may need to first complete an application or interview. Either way our desire is to make it easy for you to get involved.
Does volunteering mean that I'm signing a "til death do us part" agreement?
Absolutely not. Feel free to help however much you want! For some it may be best to jump in and get your feet wet in a few different areas until you find one that works for you. We welcome you to explore our ministries with no obligation to commit. We also have Volunteer Advisors who are available to meet with you to answer any additional questions you may have and help suggest a ministry that best fits your passion and giftedness.
Is there a place at Grace Community Baptist Church for me to volunteer?
Absolutely! While we understand that many people look around and think that they can’t possibly make a difference, the truth of the matter is that you can. You don't have to look very far to see ministry opportunities abound, while volunteers are in short supply. God is calling this church to make an impact. It will take all of our efforts together to fulfill this potential.
