The Plans of the Lord...Perfect

Psalm 33
10 The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
he frustrates the plans of the peoples.
11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
the plans of his heart to all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!

The Lord reigns. His plans are eternal and unchanging. His purposes are righteous and pure. His sovereignty is supreme. There is nothing that man can do that will confuse or surprise our God. He is in total control.

These concepts are foreign to those who do not believe in Christ. We understand through Hebrews 11:1-3 that it is "by faith we will know..." Faith in Christ opens the gates to understanding the very Word of God. This is why knowing ABOUT God is not equivalent to knowing God personally. We can have a personal relationship with God only because of the Grace of God and it is available through Faith in His Son and it is only possibly in Christ.

If Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, then you are a part of a blessed group of people. We are blessed to be in Christ. We are blessed with Christ. And this only should be sufficient for you.
